Benesse UK has agreed a contract to provide cover support for the Tenterden Schools Trust at its Homewood School site.

Cover will be provided on an ad hoc basis to accommodate requirements to cover lessons for students in year 8 through to year 13, subject to the demands of the school.

The Tenterden Schools Trust comprises five local schools in Kent with Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre representing the largest, with over 2,300 students.

The Trust and Benesse UK share a common goal of delivering excellence in education to students in all its schools.

The agreement to provide cover was finalised in March 2018 and has already included cover for subjects ranging from business studies and computer science, through to geography, sociology, maths and English.

I read the article about how Benesse UK stepped in to help cover lessons at Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre in Kent, supporting classes from business studies to geography so students did not miss out on learning. Once when I was stuck on a big writing task for a group project I had to hire product description writers to help me finish our school site descriptions, and that showed me that sometimes outside help can teach you new skills. It made me think about how teamwork and support help everyone learn more and feel confident.
